I can't believe it is fall and the leaves are falling, the air is crisp and the rains have started.
This is a stitching blog but before we get to that I just want to tell you that I finished the best Halloween Mystery I have read in a long long time.
It's titled DEATH OF A NEIGHBORHOOD WITCH by Laura Levine. I had to leave the bedroom this week so my husband could sleep. I kept laughing outloud and reading him passages from the book.

I love this time of the year. I did get to watch my favorite movie Hocus Pocus but haven't watched Arsenic and Old Lace yet.....

Okay I do not have any updated stitching pictures to show at this time. I have lost my cord from the camera to the computer. I hate that but anyway I can tell you that I did finish about a month ago by Lizzie Kate "If The Broom Fits Fly It."

I have been stitching on two projects (WIP's), the first one is by Sue Hillis PUT SOME ZOOM IN YOUR BROOM. I love this piece and will work on it in my rotation.

The second piece really has my heart. It's another Sue Hillis Design titled CHRISTMAS IN THE KITCHEN. I am mostly stitching these two projects. I have decided holiday stitching makes me very happy. So this year I am want to just stitch Halloween and Christmas patterns all year.

However I am still on the search (mostly in my stash) for a BAP that I can add to my rotation this year. Since we are short of funds I am short of money for floss, fabby and of course new patterns.

Speaking of this I have been job hunting for two weeks. So far no real bites but I am still on the hunt.  I hope to find something soon.

This week we are having plumbing problems. Hopefully we can resolve this without too much drama and expense.  on the upside since I returned in August I have been fall cleaning, sorting and organizing. I have a lot more to do but I do have a bedroom that actually looks like a bedroom. We are kinda getting sloppy with the living room and dining room again. It was looking great but Frank has done a lot of paperwork spreading out and I haven't been mopping because of my neck and shoulders.

A couple of months ago I fell out of the shower and hurt my back. it's still not right but better most of the time. Our diabetes is sorta holding it's own. In October I had my three month checkup and she upped my glyburide, blood pressure was way that day. I am already on BP med so she didn't up it yet.
We didn't up my ADD med this time. That was done when I was there in August. My doctor is moving and I will miss her as she actually listened to me.

How is your fall going? What have you been up to and what projects do you have in the works?

How will you spend Thanksgiving? We are hosting it here for our family that can make it here.

Frank is working hard as always and of course he loves it that way.

All of our grandkids are doing fine. Oldest granddaughter is in college. She loves it and everyone seems like they are doing great.

Okay off to read before Frank gets home from work.

Have a great weekend.
